Consumer Advice Center

The Consumer Advice Centre is a joint project of GTZ and the Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, and the State Government. Under this GTZ project, 6 consumer advice centres have been established in the state since the year 2010-11 with the cooperation of consumer protection organizations within the state. This activity has been continued in the year 2011-12 as well. During the last year under this program, 9 other consumer protection organizations have joined. All these activities at the state level are coordinated by the Consumer Education and Research Centre (CERC), Ahmedabad.

Under this project, the Consumer Advice Centres provide guidance on the consumer's complaint to the subject matter expert through a scheduled video conferencing every month.
