The persons/people/ groups in the below mentioned category if holding or not holding BPL ration card but falling in the below mentioned category.
Further, Antyodaya Anna Yojana Rationcard shall be issued to persons/people/groups under the categories mentioned below, but their name should be in BPL list (with 0 to 16 marks) or they should be holding BPL rationcard.
Landless agricultural labourers, marginal farmers, rural artisans like potters, tanners, weavers, blacksmiths, carpenters, slum dwellers and those who earn their daily living in the informal sector like porters, rickshaw driver, handshakers, fruits and Flower sellers, madaris, paper weavers and destitute and other such categories of people living in rural and urban areas
A persons with any type of disability of 40% or more including Orthopedic, Mentally Challenged, Visually Impaired, Deaf-Mute and Cerebral Palsy are entitled to benefits as “Divyang”, this standard has to be followed while issuing Antyodaya Rationcard to differently-abled persons under Antyodaya Anna Yojana.
