Eligibility criteria for getting Rationcard under “Antyodaya Anna Yojana”-AAY

The persons/people/ groups in the below mentioned category if holding or not holding BPL ration card but falling in the below mentioned category.

  • lise_iconHead of family who are widows or sick persons or disabled persons or persons of 60 years of age or above who have no means of livelihood or social support
  • lise_iconWidows or sick persons or disabled persons or persons of 60 years of age or above or single women or single men having no family or social support or any means of livelihood
  • lise_iconFamilies under all Primitive Groups
  • Further, Antyodaya Anna Yojana Rationcard shall be issued to persons/people/groups under the categories mentioned below, but their name should be in BPL list (with 0 to 16 marks) or they should be holding BPL rationcard.

    Landless agricultural labourers, marginal farmers, rural artisans like potters, tanners, weavers, blacksmiths, carpenters, slum dwellers and those who earn their daily living in the informal sector like porters, rickshaw driver, handshakers, fruits and Flower sellers, madaris, paper weavers and destitute and other such categories of people living in rural and urban areas

   A persons with any type of disability of 40% or more including Orthopedic, Mentally Challenged, Visually Impaired, Deaf-Mute and Cerebral Palsy are entitled to benefits as “Divyang”, this standard has to be followed while issuing Antyodaya Rationcard to differently-abled persons under Antyodaya Anna Yojana.
